ALShow is a small and basic media player which attempts to be able to playback all types of video files, big and small, without the requirement to install additional codecs and filters.
The interface to ALShow sports is simplistic, minimalist and is easy-to-use. All that is required to get started is to import your media files, be it video or audio, and hit the play button.
Within its interface, ALShow can be configured in many ways, all of which are accessed by the right-click button. From there, you're able to control basic playback, toggle full screen mode, start the video capture or screen capture functions and apply different subtitle settings.
Other global preferences can be accessed from the Preferences menu where general options, playback settings, screen display, subtitle, audio and a few other options can be set.
Above all, ALShow can play DVD files without the need for expensive software and thus makes a versatile and free media player, though a little bit outdated.
